Its been a great year on the sales side. Both new homes sales and general house sales have been really busy. We now have a supply problem which is typically a sign that as I have always said Hendon doesn't suffer from the economic downturn.
Hendon is an area where people move within. As I deal primarily with the upper end of the market my vendors are also often my purchasers.
On the New Homes side 2011 has seen the completion of The Curve which was sold mainly off plan at a phenomenal rate. Buyers were a mix of Investors and first time buyers and the larger apartments were sold to people trading down. The specification and convenient location made the development very attractive and I am very proud to have been such a large part of its early life!
Winsford Place the luxury development in Tenterden Grove was sold off plan but we decided to only sell the Penthouse when it was physically built as it really is a unique apartment. Benefitting from Panoramic views and over 3000 sq ft with roof terrace and gallery this four bedroom apartment is very special. See all plans and specification on the new development page.
Halkin House is nearly all Sold. Built by Hendon's favourite developers Excelsior Homes once again they have surpassed themselves in quality and design. Only when you enter the block do you appreciate the oasis type ambience captured by a feature fountain specially imported from Italy. The apartments remaining are 3 bedroom all with private outside space.
Excelsior also built two houses in Garrick Way which again were sold immediately and with limited exposure. I am asked daily where the next development by Excelsior will be and I am excited that their new Development in Uphill Road, Mill Hill NW7 will be completed in 2012.
A prime developer for a prime location!
